This is last weeks progress of Summer Ball. It is moving right along however, I haven't even worked on it this week. For some reason, I have just been avoiding this project. I don't know why, but I am not happy to work on it. I have been battling some minor depression so I think this may play a part of it. This school year has been hectic. So far this year we have had:
2 students die ( one was my favorite little ducklings)
2 teachers attacked (both are ok)
1 student hit by a bus who is in neurological ICU but making progress
Needless to say it has been stressful. Plus, I sprained my ankle and after it was almost healed, I re-sprained it. So I haven't been able to exercise for a month and have gained back all the weight I have lost. So I haven't been in the best place right now. I did work on and finish a RR piece which I will post later.
today was the first day I did a minor workout and my ankle felt ok. I wore the small brace on it and it felt OK. Hopefully, I can start losing weight again. I think I am going to work on my A Wintry Heirloom my HAED project. Maybe I can finish the tree I have been working on for a while.

I'm sorry to hear the school year has been tough so far. I hope things improve just a little bit. I do hope your ankle gets better and your stitchy bug comes back soon. Here's a thought: think of Disney. Hopefully that will bring a little smile on your face. :D

Sorry to hear about the school year so far, praying that it improves for you and that your ankle continues to get better. Summer Ball looks great!
Your Summer Ball looks beautiful. Of course you can put it aside for awhile and stitching something else. I'm looking forward to seeing the tree on A Wintry Heirloom!
I hope your ankle stays healed from now on!
I am sorry, I hope things get a little easier for you. Keeping everyone in the school in my thoughts, I lost a teacher and a fellow classmate in high school and it was hard.
Sorry for all the problems at school Vickie. I hope the rest of the year goes better for you. Summer Ball looks great. Don't give up. Your almost done.

Summer Ball looks great!!! You have had a hard start to the school year. Just take it easy & work on what you want. Don't worry about not working on Summer Ball. It will be there when your ready to get back to it.

Can you let me know if you have now finished the summer ball - I have been struggling with it since having problems with my eyesight and was wondering if you had completed all including the back stitch as I have a coupke of question and wondered if you could help
