Mill Hill Finish - and Weight loss

Spring break has been this week and I was trying to figure out what to stitch.  I finally decided to work on a Mill Hill kit.  It wasn't up in my rotation but they take so long to stitch, I decided to change things up.  This one is titled "Queen Anne House".  I just love how it turned out!!  I only have 14 more buildings to stitch in my rotation.  It is stitched on blue Jazlyn opalescent fabric.

Weight:

I haven't posted about my weightloss in a long time.  I got frustrated because I hit a plateau and nothing I did worked.  I was stuck between 135-139.  So, I kinda took a break, still watched what I ate and I watched the scale go up and then down.  I made a deal with myself that at spring break I was going to start dieting again.  I  restarted my couch to 5K workout last week and then continued on this week.  I have counted every calorie, watched my sugar, and started eating negative calorie foods as a snack. I stopped drinking my large sweet teas from Sonic which was difficult.  I have allowed my self a cup or two of Chocolate Hot tea with a couple of sugar cubes...so today when I weighed, I found I was at 134.4 and when I started on Monday, I was at 138!!!  So it is working!

The MH is beautiful! Keep up with the weight loss. I've ordered the Shred Diet book from Amazon. I checked it out from the library and it's a VERY doable, sensible weightloss plan. As soon as I get it I'm going to start it and go back to losing my weight!

That MH piece does look like it would take forever with all the color changes - very well done! As for the weight loss, you came up with a very sensible plan, so kudos to you! Keep up the great work!

Lovely finish - wow, it looks so good on fabric rather than the paper, think I'll have to give that a go. Good luck with the weight loss - I think it's easier for me when the weather is warm - at the moment it is snowing and going out walking etc is just NOT appealing :)
