Three Months??? Really???

OMG!  Has it really been since April that I have updated??? I have no excuse really.  I think I have been just lazy to post on my blog.  April was state testing so that took a couple of weeks.  I was also asked to tutor another student  until Graduation Mid May...so I was at the public library ever day from 4:30 to 6:30.  I was just exhausted every day.  I was also finishing up two college classes which I passed both!  One with an A and the other a B.

In May, we celebrated our 11th  wedding anniversary.  We went out to dinner at the real fancy place.  It was really good!!  I was excited that this was the first year in 3 years I did not have to change classrooms!!!!!  My last day of school was May 30th....during this time we meet with the AR Retirement people and I can officially retire from teaching in 10 years!!  OMG!!!  I didn't realize I was so close.  Then we realized I was one class from having a Masters plus 15 on the pay scale.  So, guess who is taking another class this summer???  ME!

June - Summer break right??  Nope...I met with my professor on June 2nd for my special topics class.  I was told I get to write a 20 page research paper of Special Education and English as a Second Language.  I have most of June researching and writing my paper.  I submitted early thinking Yay I am done!!  NOPE!  Professor emailed me back with recommended changes..so back to researching I go.   I have gone to the pool a couple of times but mainly I have been researching, writing and reading some trashy novels.

I have been keeping up my year of starts!  Here is what I have started.... I will have to do another post on Faery Tales. Lots of progress on that!

I told you I was going to do some easy things because I was feeling overwhelmed.  I finished all the outlines to Brooke Books Animal Advent calendar
Here is a close up...  25 little boxes!

I started Brookes Books Cake 4 outline.

I pulled out Grace and worked on her...can you tell??  Look in the upper right hand corner. Still can't see..go to the next picture

Here you go!!!! It wasn't much but I was in a challenge.

I worked on my sled.  This is the pattern Brigen ate!  Luckily I had a fairy godmother who sent me her pattern!

I pulled out Witchy Tea that I started in October of last year...worked on it.  I was able to start the square.

Worked some on my Ronald McDonald House design. My goal is to finish it the month of July...yep. I hope to finish it next month

I also worked on my Merry Christmas from Heinzeit.

The month of June!  I stitched boxes...Lots of boxes.  No really, this is Christmas Starts Here.  It is a 30 box Xmas design.  I love it!! I will post a picture of what it is supposed to look like finished time.
WHEW!!  That is it!  Lots of pictures!  I will have a new update on Monday or Tuesday.  Thanks for sticking around and seeing what I have done!
