I have decided that this year I am going to have a rotation of 13 projects at a time since it is 2013. I have several large designs and a few small ones inserted throughout. My goal is to stitch at least 1,000 stitches on each project before I switch. If I am working on a small one, I may decide to finish it before I move onto the next project. This next year I plan to stitch on:
Sistine Chapel |
Victorian Winter |
Faery Tales by HAED - current UFO |
Last Judgement -Companion Piece to Sistine Chapel |
Fantasia - Working on it now...may have it finished by the 1st. |
Hot Air Balloon |
Puppy Love - Art of Disney
A Wintery Heirloom - Current UFO
Augusta Hole 13 - Mystic Stitch- current UFO
Mill Hill Christmas Village - I have 15 kits but I think I am missing some
Summer Ball - Current UFO
Santa of the Forest
43 different Disney Ornaments
There is one more that I plan on starting...it is a Disney Christmas Table Runner but I will post this one later because I am going to need some suggestions on fabric.....So this is 14 projects and one is almost finished. Which when finished, I will not start another and just rotate the 13 I have.
So..am I crazy or what???

I think its not so crazy seeing as none of your goals are to actually complete all 13 within the year. I think I will join you and work with wips and starts till I have 13 too. Would be interesting to see how many I can complete.
All very nice projects:)
Lovely pieces, but yes, you're crazy! Last Judgement only recently lost its claim to fame as the largest HAED chart. That distinction now belongs to Aimee Stewart's Knock at the Door with a stitch count of 875 x 875. Need another to add to the group? Of course this is all in good humor. I wish you luck making progress on them all.
Definitely crazy! But stitching what you love! Have fun!
Wow!!! There are alot of BAP in this group. But I noticed you didn't say you planned on finishing all of these in 2013 just work on them. Great idea. I don't think your crazy I just think you have ambition. Looking forward to seeing all of these being stitched up & eventually finished.

Not crazy, just motivated? LOL, I look forward to your progress!
What a year for us to look forward to Vickie ,watching your progress on those beauties, Love the sistine chapel and Victorian house
Good luck.
Wow - ambition to the max! 1000 stitches on each is a lot (I wouldn't even be able to get 100 - lol) I think you're almost completed with a couple of your UFOs too so 1000 stitching on them are doable. Good luck with it all - I'll just be sitting here waiting to see your progress on everything. Hope you had a good Christmas and Happy New Year to you!
Brilliant . Good luck , I am looking forward to seeing all of these in progress.X
Yep, you're completely nutters but if anyone can do it you can and I'll be here cheering you on all the way!!
Love your choices Vickie! I think 1,000 stitched before switching to the next is a great idea. I will be anxiously waiting to see the progress on them and I think my favorite is Victorian Winter - so pretty and peaceful looking.
Wow Vickie. Those are some BIG projects. Good luck with your rotation. I love the Disney ones. I also have that Disney book plus a couple others.

I will be starting The Sistine Chapel on January 1 with you. If you don't mind, I would like to link to your postings on my blog, as well if you don't mind. And of course, you posted the companion piece from Heaven and Earth and I love it.
Yup CRAZY!! LOL
You sure like you some BAP
But you have inspired me to get out my nativity pieces and work on them in rotation with my Sanctuary of Knowledge. I look forward to watching your "crazy" progress{{Hugs}}
Wow!!! They are all beautiful!!!! Can't wait to see your progress :)
Oh Vickie, those are so many incredible designs! You should join the Turtle Trot SAL. http://bap-attack.blogspot.com/ We pick 13 projects for 2013 and post our progress on the 13th of each month. No need to really finish anything, though!
I didn't know Last Judgment was a HAED chart too. I think 1000 stitches in each is a great plan! I'm looking forward to watching you stitch on these designs all year long!
That's a lotta projects!! They certainly will keep you busy for a long, long time.
