Faery Tales update- Book recommendations

I have to say that I miss my voice!  I lost my voice around the 2nd week of September due to allergies...and it has yet to make an appearance!  My bad case of allergies developed into a very severe case of Bronchitis that the doctor said I sounded like the squeaky toy from Toy Story!  My students think it is funny that I have no voice.  I actually had to borrow a microphone from the library so I could teach my classes!

Finally!!   I have a small finish to show off!  I finished page 17 of Faery tales.  It is slowly coming along.  I only have 23 pages to go!!

Book Recommendations needed.....
I set a goal to read a certain amount/types of books by the end of the year.   I am having some trouble coming up with a good book I want to read in these categories.  Does anyone have  recommendation?
A book written by someone under 30
7. A book with nonhuman Characters
8. A funny Book
16.  A book a friend recommended
17. A Pulitzer Prize wining book
18. A book based on a true story
47. A book based on or turned into a TV show

Oh, I know how hard the no voice / bronchitis is. I had that happen multiple years in a row. I hope it comes back soon! Congrats on the page finish!! It is looking splendid!!! A book I read this fall is Popular by Maya Van Wagenen. I think she is 15 or 16? It's the true story of a "geek" becoming popular by putting into practice a 1950's teen popularity guide. Really a fun read. It would fit a lot of your categories, because I think the film rights have already been sold! ~ Tricia

Ooo it's looking so great! I love the richness of the colors and the coverage. My book recommendations are two series. The first is the 500 Kingdoms series which has nonhuman characters, they're funny and I recommend them. ;) They're based on convoluted fairy tales and are quite amusing.

The other I recommend is the Black Dagger Brotherhood series which are a lot more popular. They are nonhuman characters and I recommend them too. They aren't really funny but do have their moments. This series is a lot larger and is still growing. It's basically about a group of very sexy vampires and their war with their enemies and their romances.

Hello, my book recommendation is Saving Cee Cee Honeycutt by Beth Hoffman. It remains one of my favorites. Your stitching is coming along. Hope your voice returns soon and you feel better!!
