HI All!!! I have a health update. After I last posted that I had bronchitis again. I followed all the doctors directions, took all my medicine, but by the following week I was still feeling terrible. I called the doctors office again and she insisted on seeing me again. I left work early, sat in the office for an hour and after it was all said and done, I had developed pneumonia. Yep...early September and I have pneumonia. I had to stay off work for the rest of the week, miss my college class that weekend. My husband has now grounded me until Nov. I can go to work and come home. That is just about it. The doctor said I needed lots of rest.
Yesterday, I went to the GI specialist and now I get to be a science experiment for a few days in mid-november. I have to have a EDG scope...I think that is what it is called plus, they are going to drop an electrode down my throat and monitor my acid reflux. They think I am refluxing into my lungs, and that is what is causing me to be sick!!
On to stitching!!
Faery Tales:
I have a small finish!!! I finished page 22 and only have 18 to go!!!! I know it still seems like a lot to go but I am over the halfway mark!!!! When I put in another 497 stitches I will finally be under the 100,000 stitches to go mark!!! Since I started at 260,475 I am doing a small happy dance!
The Stitch Maynia group on facebook had an orange crush SAL so I joined in...I really dreaded stitching this fish so I tried to stitch on Saturday during the terrible Hog game against the Aggies...but for some strange reason we cannot figure out. My dog Brigen only insists sitting on my lap during Razorback football games. EVERY FREAKING GAME!!! That is 4 hours of stitching time that I have a 90 lb lab on my lap...
While I had pneumonia, I worked on my princess grace. I finished the gold outline and the flowerpot.
This flowerpot took forever especially when you are cough syrup that makes you sleepy!! There were so many half/quarter stitches, back stitching and color changes. I love how it turned out though!! It is amazing on the dark sparkly fabric.
New START!!!
I started Ella the Princess Frog from Mirabilia. You can't see much right now since it is mainly whites and pale yellows, plus the lighting was bad.
Brigen strikes again!!!!! I came home for work the other day and found this picture on the floor. Yes that it bite marks. This is all that is left of the envelope with the photo. Luckily I had the pattern in my office where I had it on my copier to make a working copy!!! So thankful he didn't eat the pattern!! I love my dog but he is obsessed with paper. He actually took it out of my stitching bag and ate it!
October Halloween Stitching:
I have planned out all 31 patterns that I am doing!!!! I have cut the fabric for all but one. I have dyed some of the fabrics to the colors I like. A couple didn't turn out the way I want but I am going to do a toss floss and see it if will work. My goal is to post a picture each day in October to show what I stitched that day. We shall see how that goes.

Oh my gosh, Vickie, you poor thing!! I hope you feel better soon and that you are taking good care of yourself.
Congrats on your Fairy Tales page finish and all your other stitching looks amazing. I was giggling away reading about your puppy (I call all dogs puppies no matter the size or age) ate the picture. Very lucky that the chart was somewhere else.
Hope you feel better soon! Your stitching looks great, I love seeing your progress on Fairy Tales. You are a brave one taking on 31 starts in October, cant wait to see your progress.
I hope you find out what's causing these issues soon. It's no fun being sick.
I've been enjoying watching your progress on Faery Tales. I started it years ago, but didn't get very far. I was stitching it on 18-count Aida, but someday I plan to restart it on 25-count Lugana.
I'm glad you have your stitching to keep you company while you're resting. I'm looking forward to seeing your 31 October starts.
Awesome stitching and progress Vickie. Where is the October SAL at? Hope you get to feeling better soon.
Linda
I truly hope you feel better soon. I don't know where you find the stitching energy while you are sick! I just spent 10 days in the hospital and don't want to do anything more than veg out! I am looking forward to seeing your October updates!!
OMG Vickie! You've got so many projects going and being sick to boot...ugh! You are a much stronger person than I am!
Great progress I hope you're feeling 100% now!
