I cannot believe that the first day of school is tomorrow! Summer was just way too short this year! I was in back to school meetings all week. I think my room is ready but if not they will live. I did work on ballerina this week. I was able to put in 2,580 stitches and have completed 21.5% of the design. I have lots of backstitching to work on in this section once I get the regular stitching completed.
I am supposed to take my fair piece to the fairgrounds tomorrow but not sure if I am going to this year. I hate the way they judge and to be honest I am tired of seeing who they pick as the winners. So, Cinderella may or may not go to the fair depends on how I am feeling tomorrow.

Your ballerina is progressing really nice and it looks beautiful.
She looks very pretty
Ballerina is coming along beautifully! I can't believe she's not even 1/4 done!
I'm curious about your frame on Ballerina. Is it a Q-frame? Is the red fabric to protect something? I use the wooden scroll frames, but the fabric always gets a little dirty where I hold on to it. I've wondered about making some sort of fabric cover to protect it, but haven't figured anything out yet.
Ballerina looks good, Vickie.
I know what you mean about the fair judging. I stopped doing it years ago because I couldn't find rhyme or reason to it.
School officially starts today for me.
Oh she looks wonderful, lovely stitching.
so pretty
The Ballerina is looking very pretty.
Good luck with school this year.
Oh, I truly hope you take her to the fair. It's not about how the judges judge her, but that people can look at and enjoy her. You may make a convert who wants to make such beautiful things. You never know!! I hope this school year goes well for you. Your project looks great. I'm really loving this piece, but I absolutely am NOT gonna buy another chart.
This is such an amazing piece! And you are such an amazingly FAST stitcher! I hope you decide to take Cinderella to the fair, but understand why you might be losing interest, too.
Wow your needle is smoking! She looks wonderful.
