I emailed Mark today and asked if we could get a new puppy. I was actually expecting the same answer I always get...NO!!! But this time he said "If it makes you happy!" So I went and picked up this beautiful little puppy!! Now...do I name him: Bennet - from my favorite book Pride and Prejudice or do I name him Gibbs (Marks suggestion) off the TV show NCIS (our favorite show)???? What do you think???

As much as I adore Gibbs (currently watching all of NCIS Season 3) that puppy is too sweet (and not gray enough) to be Gibbs. On the other hand, even when he grows up, I think the puppy's soulful eyes will fit Bennet perfectly.

I voted for Bennet. That was the name that screamed in my head when I saw him. He is so cute. I am trying to break my dad into getting a dog. Maybe someday.

I think the best choice is Gibbs!
I'm waffling but I think Gibbs is just the perfect name for the scolding part. Short and to the point like the man. Because this adorable adorable dog looks a lot like he could get himself into puppy trouble (the happy, funny kind). Which ever name you choose, he's wonderful!
What a sweet boy!! While I am a huge JA fan, I must say Bennet looks a little formal for him- I'm voting for Gibbs as well. :) (Great show BTW!)

Bennett! :) Hands down favorite. The name Gibbs is cute but it just doesn't seem to fit him...... Congrats on the newest addition to the family. When do you pick him up?

He is tooooo cute. I WANT A PUPPY TOO! He looks like a lab and I love those labs. Gibbs is a good name, but would you every try and teach him the command "give"? Could confuse him. I try to name out dogs with two sylbles so Bennet would work. Personality will tell I bet. Enjoy the little fellow while he is still little.

I voted for Gibbs because it just seems to fit this cute little guy. But after reading the comments, I can see how Bennett might fit a more mature dog. No help at all, I'm afraid!
