Stash Hoarding = Giveaway!

I know you are curious about this title, but like most stitchers we hoard our stash.  My hoarding got out of control.  I couldn't turn around in my craft room. The dogs and cats loved being in there with me but we all didn't fit...Take a look at everything that was in my little room:
Cross Stitch patterns
Jag hanging out in the empty box
Hoarded Stash
Cleaned out room

Stash
more horded stahs

furniture in room
So as you can see I have a lot of stash!!!!  I cleaned most of the night and all day today!  I am exhausted.  Tonight I plan on winding thread and watching movies.  Here is the final product of my cleaning:
Bert and Jag playing while I work

Sewing tools and thread all hanging on the wall

Bookshelves with empty spaces on them!!!!

Cross Stitch wall of exchanges!!!
As you can see I destashed quiet a bit!  So I will be having several giveaways in the next few days...Here is the first.  I  cleaned out enough fabric to fill a Glad trashbag full.  So I separated them into two boxes.  It has Aida, evenweave, baby towels and who knows what else.  To win:

1) One entry for leaving a comment
2) One entry for posting about the contest on your blog (you have to email me the link to the post)

I have Mark pick two winners on Sunday.  Someone will start the year as a winner.

This is just too weird you posted this tonight! I just got back from Menards and bought $400 worth of organizing things for my craft room! I have to empty it, remove wall paper and paint before I can put the shelving in though. I will sure to post before and after pictures like you did. Doesn't it make you feel so much better when things are in their right spots??? Great mission accomplished!

I don't want to be in the giveaway, but I did want to congratulate you on such a huge undertaking. It took me moving to another state to get my own room in order. It originally looked like your first photo before I packed it all up. You're a new "blog" for me and I've added you to my reader. Good luck with your stitching (and reading) in 2012.

Your stash room looks a lot like mine does, Vickie. Except yours is a bit more organized than mine, actually! I bought a four-drawer file cabinet at Goodwill, thinking that I could use it to file all my charts in subject order and to store my kits and fabrics and threads as well. And what have I done so far? Well, it's still sitting in the garage because I need help getting it into the house; it's too heavy for me to move by myself. Time to ask for help, right? LOL!! Thanks so much, sweetie, for your generous giveaways.

Isn't it so nice to have a clean place to work in.. I do the destash quite often... Most times I give extra items to my Charity Stitching group, we have a blog and try to host a giveaway on there monthly which helps make stitches aware of the good work we do with our stitching.

What an awesome giveaway, Vickie! And I'd love to have you come over and help me organize my stash, too. I have no talent when it comes to organizing! What's so wonderful about this giveaway is that it involves fabric! I have enough charts to keep me busy the rest of my life, but find that I lack fabric. So what a wonderful gift this would be to me. Thanks so much!
