Have you ever...

read a book and just wanted to slap a character? When I read a Lisa Gardener book there is always a character or two that I want to reach in and just smack some sense into them! I can't help it, they just drive me nuts. This past month I listened to a Lisa Gardner novel and the feeling just overtook me again!!!
Say Goodbye -
Kimberely Quincey is an FBI agent who happens to be pregnant and gets herself involved in a serial killer case. She gets a phone call in the middle of the night about a hooker that insists she talks to Kimberely. This is where I want to start slapping the agent. The choices she made in this book just annoyed me. Don't get me wrong...I LOVED the book!!!! I also loved the storyline even though it involved spiders and they give me the heebie-jeebies!!!! I do recommend reading it however, it is VERY graphic and can be gory at times. I did find myself cringing and fast-forwarding at some parts.

The Devil Wears Prada and The Nanny Diaries, I was reading them for research on a paper on chicklit and I just wanted the hurl the books across the room, I could only read them in short doses because the urge to throw things just got stronger the longer I read for, and that was mainly because I really wanted to slap the heroine in both.
