Lazy week

This is me when I get off work. I fall asleep in my chair for about 30 or 40 minutes a night.  I go to bed at a decent hour and get up around 6:00 am to do my workout.  When I get home, get my stitching on my lap, and Bert snuggled up, I fall asleep. I don't what to do.  I think it is because I have been cutting caffeine out of my system.  I haven't had a coke all week and/or a glass of tea.  I have been drinking water, lots and lots of water.

This is the facebook game that I have played for over 2 years.  I do enjoy playing it however, lately it has become more like work than fun.  I feel like I am just begging and begging for things. I posted to my friends that starting this week I would only be logging on to the game 2 times a day.  I would still send needed items, I was just going to spend more time doing things I want to do rather than feel like I have to continually on Facebook trolling for items for frontier to complete quests.  I am always looking for new neighbors if you play btw!!  I am just not playing as much.   To be honest, I have gone through some withdrawals from it.  I am getting more stitching completed though.

I don't have stitching to post because I am still working on Summer Ball and really want to finish this page before I show it off.  So I thought I would show you a new picture of Gibbs.  This is him from Tuesday night. He brought in this huge stick through his doggie door.  As you can see, as he chews on the stick, he makes a mess on the carpet!  Silly Dog...Mark has started calling him Defect.  Mark was out with his buddies and they were saying that Black Labs were the smartest of the labs and Marks laughed and said not ours....so now he is called defect.  Silly Mark!

Vickie, I know exactly what you mean about the facebook games. I have given up on mine for the same reasons. Gibbs looks like my baby girl while she is gaurding her favorite toy :)

Vickie! You've got me reminiscing! I haven't thought about this in many years, but my Aunt used to have a dog named Dumb-Butt (not his birth name, but they ended up changing it for the following reason)! He would keep breaking out of his fence just to play in the road then BLAM! You would think he would eventually learn his lesson, but no...BLAM, BLAM, BLAM! If I remember correctly, he got hit about 17 times and he always lived (back in the 70's you didn't take your dog to the vet often, so he was pretty dysfunctional by the end). But eventually he tried to play with a semi and lost. We loved that dog and he was my first encounter with an animal! I don't remember what kind he was but I do remember he was black. To this day when Zach does something stupid, I call him "Dumb-Butt"!!

I checked with my Aunt, he was part Lab and part Great Dane and part something else (I figure the something else was the dumb part!). She was so surprised I remembered him because he died when I was 4! She said it was 12 times he got hit but 5 didn't count because she hit him herself because he used to run out in front of her when she would get home and one didn't count because he got hit by a kid on a bike, but that hit also put his eye out, so I think it should count, but they really only count 6 times (which is still crazy and I think they should give him credit for all 12!). But because of his sheer size due to his dane blood, the cars that hit him only knocked him out of the way, it took a trunk to actually run him over. She said I cried and cried when he died (I don't remember that).

Sorry to hijack your blog...you just reminded me and I had to get it out!

I know how you feel! I keep going after I get home from work because I know if I don't I will get sleepy. The only problem with that is, once I get the kids to bed and want to stitch, I stitch for a bit then start falling asleep while stitching! Can't wait to see Summer Ball!!

I totally know what you mean about FV. I LOVED that game. But then it changed. It became an addiction. I had to stop it. I felt horrible the first few weeks but I am getting so much other stuff done now.

I stopped playing all Facebook games. I was constantly begging for items and it was taking to much of my time. I would rather be stitching.
