Halloween Stitching Day 13

I hope everyone had a great day.  I didn't have a great stitchy day. Ever have that day when you want to stitch but you just can't bring yourself to do it?  That was me.   I really wanted to but I had a hard time picking up my needle.  Then, just when I picked up my new project,  that is when my husband decided that he couldn't pack for his business trip without asking me "Do you know where the suitcases are?" -same place they always are..."Does this shirt go with these pants?"  No, Nothing goes with olive pants but black.  Why do you keep buying olive pants when I tell you not too???  and so forth.  When I finally got him packed, I lost the drive.  I did do a new start tonight but it wasn't as much as I hoped.

Day 13:  Autumn Splendor - JCS Sept/Oct 2015   Handdyed fabric 28ct.  Rit dye Cocoa Brown

As you can see I just got the pumpkin stem started.... It is so pretty though!!

Tiger Lily is getting big and she is a mess.  She is a standoffish kitty..she does not like to be held.  I am not sure why.   She will cuddle with me at night if I have a certain blanket.

I get those days regularly, it's very frustrating when you really want to be stitching but just can't seem to get yourself into gear to do it. Love your new project. What a cute kitty, our ct is the same he doesn't like being held at all but will lay down on my lap to sleep.

It sounds like you were a little overburdened and sometimes that makes it difficult to put thought into a new project, even one as cute as this one! I love the fabric you choose, it will look amazing!

Sounds like you had a lot on your plate. If it helps my hubby tries to match plaid with plaid or plaid with prints. Not sure why since his taste in clothes for me is great!
