Halloween Stitching Day 2

It was a beautiful day here in Arkansas.   My husband is on a business trip so I have the Big TV all to myself for the next 4 days!!!   Can we say Flosstube marathon????  Flosstube has become my new obsession!!!  If you aren't sure what Flosstube is and you are scratching your head..It is real simple.  Stitchers from all over the world make Cross stitching videos over what they are stitching..new stash, tips, suggestions..finishes.  It is so amazing.  Just go to You-Tube and search for Floss Tube.   My latest binge watching has been the search "Year of WIPS"  Several stitchers have joined this challenge to finish 10 to 15 WIPS by the end of 2017.  I can't join this one since the only UFO"s I have are HAEDs and it is only 3 of them!

I spent my day dyeing fabrics and getting the rest of the month kitted up.  This is my entire Month of Halloween projects ready to go.  I actually kitted up enough to go into November 3!!!!  I am a stitcher who needs all the threads with the project so I need to go to Joann's or Hobby Lobby for some new DMC.

Here is 34 kitted projects!!!  I am a little insane.

Day 2 Stitching:  Trick or Treat Fairy from Mirabilia being stitched on Silkweaver solo Opalescent 32 count.   I love how the colors are popping on this fabric!  I also worked on my HAED project for 30 minutes...will show an update next Saturday evening!

I stitched Halloween Fairy years ago, and she is one of my favorite Halloween decorations to put out each year. I'm with you, I like to have all the threads I need packed away with each project so I don't have to steal from other projects.

Excellent way to organize your Halloween stitching. You're going to finish all of those? Wow!! Thanks for the info on the Year of WIPs. I think I need to join that.

I know what you mean about the year of WIPs :D At first I was like "oh yeah, WIPs, I can do WIPs!" because I couldn't imagine a year of starts, mostly because I love my BAPs, mostly Haeds. I may be a serial starter, but the thought of having like so many WIPs on the go scared me. But then I found out it's about finishing you WIPs and well - no chance to finish a Haed by the end of 2017, let alone 15 WIPs in total :D
34 WIPS sounds like a big number to me, but I love the idea of stitching a different Halloween design each day =) The Trick or Treat Fairy looks amazing, I think I could put her on my wishlist ;-)
